The Robust One
With us you get the genuine sage (Salvia officinalis). The whole leaves are gently and carefully processed so that the sage only develops its aromas when prepared as a tea. The perennial plant originates from the Mediterranean region and North Africa, where the “medicinal” and culinary herb is found on calcareous sites. Our organic sage tastes intensely spicy and slightly bitter due to the tannins it contains, with a lemony flavour.
Its smell, on the other hand, is spicy and somewhat reminiscent of pine.

For a soothing our BIO oregano tea, pour ¼ liter of boiling water over 1 teaspoon of the dried herb and let it steep for 5 minutes. We hope you like it!
